THE ENVIRONMENT
Our paradise island is struggling with an enormous plastic problem just like the rest of the world.
Our fabric products are made from Pable Indonesia recycled & reprocessed cotton waste and are saving freshwater due to no dyeing process.
Our other products are produced from 100% recycled plastic polyester leftovers of the fast fashion industry. Treat these materials with love.
We also challenge ourselves every day to improve and question all processes from production to shipping. We are not perfect but aim to get better every day!
THE LOCAL PEOPLE
Each of our product is handmade with a lot of love and each time uniquely created. We don’t support fast industrial goods, but stand for valuable handicraft.
Our fabric products are made by the women of the BaliLife Street Kids Centre & Woman Workshop and gives them and their kids an opportunity for a better living.
Our other products are made by the passionate team of the norm:al: living crew in Jakarta, who have declared the fight against plastic with full dedication!

SEE OUR PROCESS
We use fabric which is coming from untreated cotton plants. They are reprocessed and spinned back into new yarn. Usually the bottom part of cotton plants is not used as it is hard to process and clean and therefore becomes waste. This part is saved and upcycled within our process. All cotton material come directly from Indonesia.
Afterwards the Bahalo products is handmade by the BaliLife Street Centre & Woman Workshop and gives these women new opportunities for the future.
