Our sustainable recycled yarn is made of recycled & reprocessed cotton waste and is also saving freshwater due to no dyeing process. Each piece is handmade with love by the BaliLife Street Kids Centre & Woman Workshop. Slight differences between each unique piece may occur during the making process!

Material

We use fabric which is coming from untreated cotton plants. They are reprocessed and spinned back into new yarn. Usually the bottom part of cotton plants is not used as it is hard to process and clean and therefore becomes waste. This part is saved and upcycled within our process. The 1S size yarn gives the fabric a texture which looks more rustic and is hand woven into new fabric. So treat these materials with some extra love. All cotton material come directly from Indonesia. 

How to use

Although this material is strong and incredible in general, please keep in mind that this is a recycled product and therefore has to be treaten with extra love

only cold hand wash

do not bleach

do nottumble dry

do not dry in the sun

Manufacture

For the sake of the environment we manufacture our collection also only on request. Therefore the delivery time of our products is up to two weeks.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Our paradise island is struggling with an enormous plastic problem just like the rest of the world.

Our fabric products are made from Pable Indonesia recycled & reprocessed cotton waste and are saving freshwater due to no dyeing process.

Our other products are produced from 100% recycled ocean & river plastic from Indonesia.

We also challenge ourselves every day to improve and question all processes from production to shipping. We are not perfect but aim to get better every day!

Each of our product is handmade with a lot of love and each time uniquely created. We don’t support fast industrial goods, but stand for valuable handicraft.

Our fabric products are made by the women of the BaliLife Street Kids Centre & Woman Workshop and gives them and their kids an opportunity for a better living.

Our other products are made by the passionate team of the norm:al: living crew in Jakarta, who have declared the fight against plastic with full dedication!
